 The Community Resource Centre is a multi purpose not-for-profit entity serving the residents of Clearwater and the North Thompson. The Community Resource Centre and Thompson Rivers University have a partnership agreement that encompasses the provision of credit and non-credit programming.

The Community Resource Centre also engages in a wide variety of community capacity building projects and programs (incubation of initiatives e.g., Wells Gray Community Forest, The North Thompson Sustainable Watershed Atlas and Sustainability Planning for the North Thompson).

In addition, the facility houses a public computer lab, a Business Support centre (colour & b/w photocopying, faxing, laminating, binding, document creation, mailing services, digital services, equipment rental) meeting rooms and office space.

The Community Resource Centre also provides recreational registration, organization of general interest courses, basic computer courses and work-related provincial certification training.
